Statutes and Activities

Since its inception in 1997, the Fondation Pierre Aubert has conducted a dynamic policy of promotion and openness, through exhibitions and publications (notably the catalogue raisonné Pierre Aubert (1910-1987). L’œuvre gravé, 2007), as well as this website since 2017. Its activities reveal all the facets of the artist and his œuvre, in a spirit of openness.

In 2024, two exhibitions will explore the artist's painted work (Les Pays de Pierre Aubert, from 19 April to 2 June 2024, at the Centre culturel Maison Visinand in Montreux) and his woodcut work (Pierre Aubert. Maître des bois, from 17 May to 25 August, at the Pavillon de l'estampe of the Musée Jenisch in Vevey).

Three publications will also appear in 2024: Aubert, Le noir est aussi une couleur, published by Infolio, collection Presto; Pierre Aubert, peintre, also published by Infolio; and the reissue of the work published in 2017, Le Voyage à Paris. Un carnet de Pierre Aubert, published by art&fiction, collection San Remo.
